Who we are
Hi, I’m Ned – owner and founder of Helente. I always wanted to drive a car when I was a kid, but apart from 18 it was just a dream. One day at my cousin’s house I tried a simple, no FFB game wheel for the first time and it got me VERY hooked.
The birth of an idea
After about 10 years, I started earning my own money and the first thing I bought was a game wheel. After a lot of interest, I bought a Thrustmaster. I wanted to drift, so I needed a handbrake. I looked in Lithuania because I wanted to get it quickly, but I couldn’t find one. Not even a used one. I had to order it from abroad, pay a lot of money for shipping and wait a long time. Then I thought: why doesn’t anyone sell them locally?
The start of Helente
It all started with 5 handbrakes. I decided to help people just like me. I posted the handbrakes in Facebook groups. They were quickly sold. Then SimRacer.com was born and it grew into a shop offering Sim Racing equipment from the best manufacturers. Now known as Helente.
